About Us And Our Alpacas

So who are we? We are Peter and Liz, living just over the border in Cornwall betwean Launceston and Callington. We have been slowly building our herd of alpacas, sticking to the principal the “Good enough just isn’t good enough.” When it comes to alpaca breeding, only EXCELLENCE will do.

We purchased our land here about 10 years ago. We moved on to the land in a small caravan, got temporary permission to build a log cabin and, after a long story, we secured full planning permission. We have now finished building our lovely new home, although the landscaping is still incomplete.

We still have our cabin, and it is now available for you to rent as a holiday retreat, or as a chance to get down and dirty on the farm and maybe pick up some lessons on what it’s like to be a smallholder. As well as our alpacas, we also have our veg plots and a new orchard, and of course the hens.

Your time with us is yours to enjoy how you wish. Relax here, or make the short journey to the coast or the moors. Or we can tell you something about animal husbandry, spinning and weaving, getting planning permission to build in open country or anything you want to raise. Maybe over a glass of wine.
